1. Accurate records only

The generators and templates are provided for creating accurate records of actual payments: employers documenting real wages paid to real employees, and self-employed people documenting real income received. You are responsible for the accuracy of every document you create. Creating a document that misrepresents income, employment or payments, or presenting such a document to a lender, landlord, government agency or any other party, may be a crime. Our acceptable use policy is part of these terms.

2. Not tax, legal or accounting advice

Tax amounts on generated documents are estimates from published withholding tables and the information you enter. They are provided for convenience and may differ from what a payroll provider or tax authority calculates. Nothing on the site is tax, legal or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for your situation.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the information you enter and the documents you generate. Standard tools process your entries in your browser; we do not receive or store them. See the privacy policy.

4. Our content

Templates, guides, code and design are owned by the site or its licensors. You may download and use templates for your own business records. You may not resell them, remove attribution from the guides, or scrape the site.

5. No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the tools are error free or that a document will be accepted by any third party.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on a generated document, including losses from inaccurate entries, tax calculation differences, or misuse of a document by you or anyone else.

We may change the tools, templates and these terms at any time. The date at the top shows the last update.
