Form entries and generated documents

The pay stub generator, the 1099 generator and every other standard tool run entirely in your browser. Calculations and PDF creation happen on your device. Company names, employee names, addresses, pay amounts and the last four digits of any Social Security number are never transmitted to our servers, logged or stored by us. Closing the tab clears them. We never ask for a full Social Security number.

If we add optional features that save documents to an account, they will be opt-in, described on this page before launch, and this wording will be updated.

Template downloads

Templates are static files. Downloading one sends a normal web request for the file; nothing about your use of the template is sent back.

What we do collect

• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, page requested, browser type, time) for security and capacity. Logs are kept for a limited time.
• Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views. If a tool that sets cookies is used, it will be listed here.
• Advertising. The site shows display ads. Ad networks such as Google AdSense may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have not opted out. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings and through your browser. We do not pass form contents to advertisers.
• Contact. If you email us we keep the correspondence to answer you.

Cookies

The tools themselves set no cookies. Ad and analytics providers may set their own; see above.

Children

The site is for business use and is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because we hold no document data, there is nothing for us to export or delete from the generators. For correspondence or log data, or any privacy question, contact us.

We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the last revision.
